It seems impossible, but between Milan and Genoa there is an uncontaminated territory that never ceases to amaze.
We still ask ourselves how this is possible.
Vineyards and meadows, orchards and woods alternate, in an apparently casual way, to compose a landscape that knows how to speak to us of a deep respect for the environment and traditions.

Where we are

The Terre del Giarolo take their name from Mount Giarolo (1474 m.) In the province of Alessandria at the confluence of the four Regions: Piedmont, Lombardy, Liguria and Emilia Romagna.

The Terre del Giarolo area is made up of three areas: Val Curone, Valli Grue and Ossona and Valli Borbera and Spinti, real border lands located along the ancient “Salt Roads” that connected the Po Valley with the Ligurian Sea.

This strategic position has therefore favored not only the exchange of goods, but also the enrichment and diversification of the traditions of these valleys, valleys still rich in history and offering an uncontaminated environment rich in biodiversity.
